After weekending in the Catskills for several years, I moved to Arkville full time in early 2016. Prior to becoming a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams Upstate Properties, I spent 25 years in the telecommunications industry in roles of increasing management responsibility in wireless technologies, with an expertise in billing system consolidation.
After extensive periods of living, working, and owning multiple homes in Atlanta and Jersey City, I bought an 1860s farmhouse in Arkville in 2014 and began a series of renovations. And – as many Catskills and Watershed region weekenders-turned-full-timers can attest – I was inspired by the beauty and pace of the countryside to make the move upstate a full-time experience.
I love the people and the scenery here. It reminds me in many ways of East Tennessee, where I grew up with the Smoky Mountains in my backyard. There’s no better feeling than waking up in a beautiful place where you truly feel at home, and that’s what I hope I can help other people find as a licensed real estate agent. Whether someone is looking for a weekend retreat – which is what brought me here initially – or a permanent home on a beautiful piece of land, I get it. And my goal is to help every client find his or her ‘happy place,’ just as I’ve found mine here.”
